Today 29th May 2021 is historic in the annal of broadcasting in Kogi State as Radio Kogi Ochaja got connected to the National Grid after over 30Years of its establishment.

In a commendation by the Auditor-General of Kogi State, Alhaji Yakubu Okala, he thanked the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for salvaging the messy situation of the Radio Station.

He wondered what would have happened that the Radio Station was left in such a pathetic situation, to be run only on generator and diesel for over 30 years.

He stated that the entire people of Kogi East Senatorial District and the broadcasting Community cannot forget this gesture of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of the State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello in a hurry.

The Auditor-General prayed God to strengthen the Governor as he is poised to do more to deliver the dividends of democracy to the nooks and crannies of the State.
